Soaring Rockets

Dear Tama,
Today, in church, the closing song for the missionary sacrament meeting we attended was one of the songs that we sang at your funeral. The song is God Be With You 'Til We Meet Again. The message in this song is so touching Tama and I will forever attach this song to my memory of you. It's amazing how strongly the mind connects music to emotion and after the week we've had, I needed a good reminder of the connections we still have to you.

Your Great Uncle Cliff and Aunt Jeanette were in town this weekend from Utah. They taught your brothers and cousins how to make rockets after our family dinner. All of the kids had a blast, and your oldest cousin Taelor was the first one to make a special rocket just for you. She has an incredibly special love for you son and I love the way she shows it. One of my biggest fears is that you will be forgotten, so it warms my heart when everyone remembers you and includes you like you are still here.

Here are the pictures from tonight. The rocket your cousin made for you flew perfectly and everyone celebrated!!! Your brothers and cousins also made some other rockets in honor of you. It was a happy ending to an emotional day.

We'll love you forever Tama…
Til' we meet again…
Love, Mommy
