Today was our last Sunday in our Carlsbad ward. There has been an invitation extended to all of the members in our stake to attend the Spanish Ward in Oceanside (should they feel so inspired to do so). Well, the inspiration came and after prayerful consideration we have decided that this is the right "move" for our family.
Our plans are to try it out for at least 1 year. Albert has had a strong desire to learn the gospel in the language of his heart for quite some time now, so this is a great opportunity for our family.
I personally feel like ever since we've lost Tama, we realize the urgency to follow inspiration and receive opportunities that arise in our lives. I'm sure Tama is excited about our new Spanish Ward adventure!
We realize how quickly life can change from one day to the next, so it's important to not prolong decisions that can be made today!
President Monson once said:
The boys are honestly not thrilled about it. We are a little nervous of the change, but we want them to realize that inspiration to make a change doesn't always result in your most comfortable state right off. Growth takes time and we are confident this will be a great life lesson/experience for our whole family.
Here's to the future of the gospel in espanol !
